I chose to study Japanese, because I'm very interested in Japanese culture. I enjoy Japanese food and films in particular. I am excited about learning Katakana and Kanji. So far, I have found reading and writing in Hiragana to be among the most challenging things we do in this class.

Deleteこんにちは！ルイです。わたしもにほんごをならう。Writing by hand in hiragana and katakana can be really slow, but for fun you might try using the voice dictation feature on an iPhone or Mac, which makes it really fast! It's amazingly accurate and can fill in all the right kanji for you. I use it to text my Japanese friend for practice!
